Pumpkin Bread
I don't have a photo of pumpkin bread - so I thought a pumpkin might be ok! |
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup water
1 cup oil
5 eggs, beaten
1 16 ounce can pumpkin
1 cup chopped pecans, optional
Grease 2 - 9 inch loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Blend in water and oil; mix in eggs. Blend in pumpkin and pecans. Divide into 2 pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
