Beef BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients
2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped (optional)
1 cup ketchup
2 tsp. mustard
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Fry onion and ground beef together.
Add all the other ingredients and simmer together on the stove until sauce reduces to desired consistency.

Serve with rolls.

I think the BBQ tastes better if I fry the meat until very brown and in smaller pieces. To do this, I simply cook it until it is no longer pink. Next, I drain off the juice/fat. I continue frying until the meat starts to brown. You can even add a bit of oil to the pan if you have a lean beef and it starts to stick.
At this point, I add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes or so.
