Baked French Toast















Baked French Toast
8 eggs
1 1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 loaf of thick sliced bread
(Our favorite is Texas Toast)

Directions
Beat together eggs and orange juice.
Set aside. Grease two jelly roll pans or cake pans. Mix butter, sugar and cinnamon together and spread on to the bottom of your two pans.
Dip bread into the egg and orange juice mixture. Allow the bread to soak up some mixture, but don't wait too long or the bread will get soggy and fall apart. Place dipped bread on top of the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake 325^ for 25 minutes for thicker bread or 15 minutes for thinner bread.

Our family loves this French Toast, but since it is made with white bread, and has little nutritional value, we reserve it for special occasions or a Sunday morning breakfast.
